Part1 :Learn Essential Verbs by Category

Now that you’ve built your sentence foundation, it’s time to expand your range of expression — by learning essential verbs, grouped by their function in real communication.

We’ll cover verbs across practical and expressive domains:

Each verb group will open a new dimension in your spoken Arabic — and give you the tools to form more meaningful, flexible sentences.

The Method

Each lesson follows the same structure:

  • One verb per slide

  • Introduced in first person, to keep it simple and relatable

  • Used in short, clear sentences

  • Repeated in present and past forms

  • Shown in multiple contexts.

This slow, layered exposure helps you absorb not just the meaning, but also the rhythm, structure, and real use of the verb.

How to Study Each Slide

Here’s how to get the most out of it:

  1. Write the verb in your notebook, both present and past

  2. Add comments about the pronunciation — anything that feels tricky or interesting

  3. Copy the example sentences by hand

  4. Pause the video after each new sentence

    • Read it aloud

    • Try to guess its meaning

    • Think: How is this verb being used?

    • Go back to your notes if needed

  5. Try writing your own new sentences with the same verb.

    Don’t worry about making mistakes!

Many learners believe that if they write something wrong, it will “stick” in their memory forever — but that’s simply not true.

You won’t repeat the same incorrect sentence 50 times.
Instead, you’ll use that sentence to explore, reflect, and improve.
The repetition happens with the correct forms, through the material and feedback.

Mistakes are part of the process — not a threat to your progress.
What matters is that you stay curious, keep experimenting, and learn from every step.

You can use Chatgpt as a virtual tutor writing this prompt (feel free to improve it!) :

Act as a patient tutor of spoken Palestinian Arabic for beginners.
Your approach should be gradual and step by step.
I will write simple sentences. Please correct any mistakes and explain clearly why the correction is needed — using simple, easy-to-understand examples.
Focus only on spoken Palestinian Arabic — not formal or written Arabic.
Keep your corrections short, clear, and helpful.

Why This Works

By learning verbs in context, grouped by function, your brain creates strong links between words, meaning, and action.
You’re not memorizing isolated data — you’re learning how to think and express yourself in Arabic.

Using first person makes it personal. You’re learning how to talk about yourself, your thoughts, your actions — and that’s the most powerful starting point in any language.
